Finding the Perfect Gift For Your Wife

I know that finding a great gift for you loved one can be a stressful event. Especially when your wife is very picky about what she likes. I have been married for over 13 years now and I can still never get it right. Except for last year. I bought a leather Prada handbag for my wife and it was the best gift I have ever gotten her. Except for her wedding ring.

The leather Prada handbag that I purchased for her was a tote. She really loves the space that it provides and the quality of the handbag from the inside to the outside. It's very functional for her.

My wife loves to go out and do shopping for odds and ends. With her tote, she can most often make a purchase and just put the item right into her bag. This thing is huge.

The decision of the right bag for your wife will depend on several factors.

I made the decision of the tote because my wife does like to shop and we have two small children. She can put small items for the children into her bag and off they go.

The brown leather Prada handbag holds up to all kinds of abuse. She takes it to the amusement park because it holds everything. Plus she likes the comments other ladies make when we go walking by. I can see a glow about her that seems to raise her spirits.

This was the best gift I could have ever purchased for my wife.

I found a great book that helped me make the decision on the right gift for my wife.

Shakira

I don't know what I did to deserve this, but my wife absolutely adores Shakira. When Shakira is shaking her hips on the television, my wife is dancing along with her. Poor, poor me. I have to watch both of them dance. Life is hard.

I think my wife just equates Shakira with the freedom to dance for the world like she just doesn't care. Whatever it is, I'm more than content with watching her dance on my television. Plus, that Hips Don't Lie is a catchy tune!

Reese Witherspoon

There's no question in my mind that my wife likes Reese because she is the essence of wholesome goodness. Not only does she play sweet moral characters (see Cruel Intentions) but she sure seems like she's just as sweet and moral in real life. Her long marriage to Ryan Fillippe backed that wholesome image as it seemed like every other Hollywood marriage was falling apart. Then when their marriage did end, it was Ryan who was clearly blamed by the media while Reese maintained her squeaky clean image. I have to admit, I can't help but like her too.

Jennifer Aniston

Well, given the list of celebrities my wife hates, it's no shock that she loves Jennifer Aniston. Aniston may have the best publicist in the business. She comes across as the girl next door (no comment on the girl next door getting plastic surgery once in a while) while Brad and Angelina come across like pure evil. Does Jennifer ever play a role that isn't just like Rachel from Friends? Seriously, she's always the drop dead gorgeous, lovable girl next door who can't quite seem to figure out what her priorities are in this world. Maybe it's typecasting. Maybe it's just who she is. Either way, my wife loves her.
